Project Background

The client is a world famous automobile tire manufacturer, preparing to enter the Chinese market. It expected to understand the current policies of the country's tire plants in managing agents, as well as price policies, so as to better construct sales channels and distribute resources.

ACMR Service

With the help of its macroeconomic database, ACMR first listed six cities with the largest amounts of auto parc and highest growth rates as the targets for the research project. After that, it selected five most competitive tire brands according to the client's product orientations.

It launched face-to-face in-depth interviews with the agents of the tire brands in the selected cities, to fully understand manufacturer requirements on their sales, price policies and other sales supports. ACMR also received information on agent's assessment of manufacturers, willingness to cooperate and the future market development. ACMR provided the client with a list of potential cooperation partners of strong capacities and wide channels.
